So this is my first how to so be nice.....

I did this mod before i put this up here as I'm new here.
I got the 12 volt amber LED from pepboys, it will tell you which drill bit size.

I took the plastic fender pieces off and drilled the holes at the top rear facing angles. Seven in total each side.
It will take the steady hand to not ruin the piece or drill through your hand.

Since this plastic piece sides on with tension you'll see why i didn't minimize the amount of wires until i got in under the hood then soldiered and shrink wrap into 10ga speaker wire and snaked it over the fender to the corner signal light.
Using a tester to find the turn signal wire and ground, I T-Tap the connections. I sealed the LED's with silicon on the back for added water proofing and gap filling. I also lined the fender under the plastic with black duck tape to eliminate sharp edges.

I did this for a different look, avoid cutting a hole in the fender, not having the everyday arrows and i noticed if a car next to me where the driver is about where the doors are they cant see the front or rear signals so its also for the safety aspect too. Hope you all like and it took about two hours to do. ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Heck yeah nice work. I'd copy and paste it into a new thread in the KK tech section so it doesn't get buried..

That's pretty cool, just to add one thing. To remove the plastic fender trim, slide it on the fender towards the front of the Jeep & it should pop right off.

Looks really good!

yes they do, only come on when turning. so the clear LED takes the black shade surrounded in black and are not noticed till there on.

Very nice. I was contemplating on doing a led board in the front turn signals. Use white and amber so they double as fogs. So,glad to see it done. I'm sold.
