Good evening,
I am currently piecing together my uConnect retrofit. I currently have the 130S/RES head unit (the one with XM radio but without uConnect button) and the lack of bluetooth streaming bothers me. I looked at aftermarket head units, but they all nowadays have some weird spaceship/star-trek look to them. I prefer the OEM style.
So, I got my uConnect module/kit on order. I got another RES head unit (the one with the XM and the uConnect buttons) off of eBay. The install (thanks to LOST) should be plug and play. Now, what I know will bother me is the fact that the uConnect button is all the way at the head unit. So I googled and looked for steering wheel controls.
I was concerned at first as all I could find were the controls which are made for uConnect + EVIC, until I came across a post in the Dodge forum concerning a late 2012 Dodge 1500 Express.

Does anybody have any clue what the part number is for this particular model of steering wheel controls?
My research indicates that it will work in the KK. Chrysler group seems to only use one wiring setup for the steering wheel / column controls across its different brands and models in the 2012 / 2013 range.
I looked through the parts catalogs, but between 20 different part numbers, types of controls and the cryptic numbers/letters of vehicle codes I got totally lost. At the end, i don't want to order the wrong thing and hope that some of the parts-pro's here can help identify the proper P/N.
Thanks in advance!
