Ok I have a 2011 jeep kk and I'm ready to order my lift probably Tommorow ... But if I go on als website the full econo kit is 1400$ ... But if I add up the parts (what I think is in the full kit) it's almost 250$ less ... Heeeeeelp |

I thought he fixed the price... I'm not sure what everything costs anymore honestly. Prices have been going up in the past few months. Basically depending on which kit you get you have: OME/Ironman front springs Ironman front shocks 1/4" top plate clevis spacer a-arms ironman long rear shocks JBA 4" rear springs Whether that's cheaper as a kit or all together, I'm not sure. Edit: I don't think it comes with bumpstops. You'll have to get those yourself. Use teraflex in front and 4 hockey pucks in back(2 per side). Just pieced it together for just under $1300. Email him(I'd do it asap since he's out of the office til Tuesday), see what's included in the kit. Maybe I'm missing something. |

Plus most of their shocks are crap Stay with OME, Ironman or Bilstein shocks Rancho used to have a great shock that worked very well with the KJs / KKs but they discontinued that line would not recommend anything else they make for example ProCrap line is well ,.......good luck with them the TM Econo kit was put together as a one stop shopping for a 3.5 inch lift. People kept asking what all they needed so that list finally went into the parts you see listed. Prices change so possibly they haven't updated or the mixture of parts have changed somewhat due to what is available |

Do you have an actual parts # breakdown of the kit |

Same question and reason why the kit was developed Just go on JBA, go with whatever springs you want, whatever shocks, clevis , UCAs etc |

Gixxa wrote: Do you have an actual parts # breakdown of the kit Already gave you the parts. I don't know Ironman springs the best, hence the reason why I stick with OME. If you go the OME route, 927s will be the front springs you want. The rest is all pretty simple. I believe JBA is one of the only US retailers for Ironman stuff. So go from his site. The rears are 4" Ironman Long shocks. |

No I understand all that ... My main question is when you tally all the parts up separate its 200$ less than the actual ..."kit" I have no problem buying the kit just want to know why it's 200$ more I must be missing something |

I actually pieced together the lift individually on JBA and it came out about $375 less than the kit. A-Arms - $430.95 on sale for $395.95 Ironman Rear Shocks - $97.95 Ironman Front Shocks - $141.95 Front Spring - $167.99 Rear Spring - $175.95 Clevis - $16.95 Space Plate = $27.95 Total = $1024.69 TM Kit Price = $1399.95 Difference ($1399.95 - $1024.69) = $375.26 Now this price doesn't include the bumpstops, but I don't think the TM Kit does either. Does the kit come with the front shocks / springs already assembled? That could account for the price difference as it would include the top shock mounts and labor... dunno... just a thought. |

I just went with the OME kit plus the JBA front top plates, rear upper isolators and the Teraflex bump stops. Under 1 grand and a great ride! Sent from Tapatalk 2 because Tapatalk 4 sucks. |

Erikg84 those shock prices are each. You need to double both of them., that's an extra 239.93. Also kit comes with Y link extension 50 or so and extra upper isolators about 50 more. That about 340 that you missed. |

Should of done the KK one but the KJ one ( just had a request to give a KJ owner a write up on price to do theirs) But price comes out almost right on, depending on which coils you use and which shocks etc. Have to remember the JBA rear coils are more expensive than OME or Ironman but then you don't have to add in upper isolators either |

Tom, unless I'm missing something the heavy duty Ironman springs, JBA 4" springs, ironman shocks, a-arms, top plates and clevis come in cheaper when pieced together. Like I said, just under $1300 for the Ironman version of the TM 3.5". I don't think I'm missing anything either unless the kit come with bumpstops. |

Does it include hardware or stuff that's not in the pictures ?? Best thing is to ask jeepbyal, its their kit, their pricing, their parts, their business You can debate on here till the cows come home what the prices should be and that will not change a thing I don't have anything in this except coming up with the list in the first place of parts that worked and were the cheapest way to go at the time. As far as parts list all of the parts are right there listed, they are all available to buy separately on JBAs site |

Gixxa wrote: A kit should be at least cheaper Parts cost what they cost, believe it or not prices on springs/ shocks are set by the manufacturer pretty much, not much markup at all for the dealer so while you may think combining parts should be cheaper it still cost the same to sell them by themselves or as a kit This was not put together as a cost saving " Kit " but rather a one stop shopping don't have to have anything else but bumpstops . All came about due to me answering 5-7 times a week " what all do I need to buy to have a 3.5 inch lift |
