I had a pinhole in my driver side and actually used heavy duty RTV to seal it up. I let it set for 24hrs, and no issues afterwards. I even went on a weekend long wheeling adventure with no problems.
I would just bite the bullet and go with the Jeep remanned ones. Last I checked the NAPA ones are still on nat'l backorder and the ones off Rock Auto are garbage.
