I used a 3.5" rock krawler lift for a while before getting the JBA kit. Replace the supplied grade 5 hardware with grade 8 from Ace Hardware(unless they ship it with grade 8 now). You'll want Teraflex front bump stops and longer rear shocks at the very least. You'll be no different then people with spacers and clevis lifts for that extra 1/2" lift on their OME kits and it's 10x easier to install. Although you should replace all the shocks, at this point its almost worth saving more and just getting the springs too.

Save up and do it right one time instead of wasting money and just have to do it over again
If you can't wait a few months ( if it takes that long to save for a real lift) then you have a problem :wink:

Plus, spacers ride really harsh and if your springs are already shot (sagging) it just makes it look weird and handle odd.

Save up the money, and buy a full spring lift.
