I recently bought my first jeep (2010 kk sport) I'm looking to lift and add more aggressive/larger tires. I came across the tommudd lift and was curious if anyone had experience with it. Also am not sure about what tire size would be optimal for this size lift. This is my DD so I'd like to retain comfortable driveability. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Great lift. Be warned it has a slight rake (less if you go the OME version). Tommudd himself helped JBA put the kit together so people had an affordable 3.5" kit.

You can run 31s without worrying about regearing. Look for 245/75-16 or 265/70-16. The 265s are ~31x10.5, the 245s are ~31x9.8.

I'm definately wanting a nice leveled look. I grew up riding around in xjs and I kind of see the kk as the modern cherokee. I think I'm going with 265/75/16 Duratracs

Those are 32s. They need either a lot of cutting at 3.5" or 4" and a little bit of trimming. Also need a regear to 4.10s or 4.56s depending on where you live and how much you tow. Tge 265/70-16 and 245/75-16 is the sweet spot right before you need to regear.

For a level look you might want to get a lift like mine where it's OME springs, choice of shocks and the extras to get to 3.5".

My bad I meant 245 haha and where are you at price wise? Also how's the ride?

OME 927/731 ride great. I went with Bilstein shocks to save a few bucks. At first it's stiff, but not jarring. In a few thousand miles they break in really nicely.

Prices changed over the years. Back when I got it all, it was $1200. Now I think it's about $1300 maybe $1400 depending on the shocks you choose. A big part of that is upper control arms that you'll need at 3+".

The tommudd kit has 2927 ome springs as an option and the pic they have up is the look I'm going for for sure. It is a bit more costly though.

Has everything including new UCAs so all in one package except for bumpstops
sticking with 245-75-16s is a good choice since you can get by with that size and stock gears
