So i have a 2012 liberty kk i just purchased the main question i have is the lift ive already looked at all the available lifts out there but honestly at this time i deff cant afford a JBA or anything until next year most likely. So my question is, if i do a 2" spacer lfit for about a year or so would that hurt my jeep in anyway or should if be safe for that amount of time? if anyone has pictures and input thatd be much appreciated thank you happy to be apart of this group |

I definitely wouldn't recommend it. If you must do it for new tires or whatever, it probably won't do any permanent damage to anything you won't be replacing with a proper lift. Where do you live? |

i live in Connecticut yea the tires on the jeep are gettin pretty bald last owner never replaced them so i figured if im going to buy new tires i might as well get bigger ones so i figured id run a spacer lift to fit the new tires and then next year pick up a suspension lift and replace it all |

What I meant was that if you come around northeast Ohio, I have an old space lift that I'm no longer using. We could work something out I'm sure. It's probably not worth a special trip though. |

It was ok but I had an over the top set-up, not one like the daystar which will ride like a skateboard. It takes all of the flex out of the springs which makes them very stiff. There will be issues to address with changing tire size and ride height, no matter who's parts you use. The speed has to be calibrated for the new tire size to minimize the stability control activation, more of a nuisance than anything. Gears to match the tires is very important for performance and will eliminate the remaining issues with the stability control issues. You may have to address the pinch weeks to stop tire rub. There was more I had to do but those are the big ones. |

Do they make a leveling kit to leave the front with back of the jeep I've been trying to find one even that would help me right now, not really a fan of the rake the jeep has |

Teraflex used to make something but I've never seen one installed. OME is good, it'll run about $1200 with upper control arms, well worth the money too. There are things you can do to level out any lift. |

You could put 235/70-16's on until you could save enough for bigger tires and a lift. All of the spacer lifts have issues. Take a look at Teraflex. Rocky Road seems to have copied theirs. It has a spacer that goes over the strut and poly spacers that go under the rear springs. You could cut the rear spacers a little to level it out. Make sure you take 1/4" more off of the passenger side to compensate for the lean. Definitely stay away from the ones that go inside of the strut like a daystar. Be prepared for an expensive journey, in the end though, you'll be very satisfied. Cover the headlights too, they look much better. |

Not worth the time and expense to install a spacer lift. ( by the time you buy the kit, longer shocks, which won't be worth anything later, installation, alignment etc) Save up and do it right you'll be way happier in the end with a full spring setup |
