Hi guys before everyone starts going on about not doing the daystar lift its only temporary getting the jba lift next year but tires are bald and whats the sense of buying two sets of new tires so with that being said i just wanna know from the people who do have the daystar lift how it rides and looks and what size tires youre running pictures would be helpful |

Where are you located? You'd be much better off with a Teraflex over the Daystar. The Daystar rides like a skateboard and the Teraflex uses the stock suspension. |

Run the 245-70-16s now unlifted, and then when you have the funds go for the JBA lift, leave the spacer lifts alone . |

245/75-16 will fit with the Daystar. A lot of people have done it. Depending on how much your springs have sagged you may rub a tad, but you can always pound the pinch weld if that's the case. I'm also assuming you have the stock rims or atleast stock specs. |

correct, the 245/75/16 wheels will for with the daystar. longer shocks as stated above are going to be needed. the spacers kill ride quality and your shocks pretty fast. fronts kill over quicker then the rear. a full spring lift is recommended though ![]() ![]() |

Yea I'm going full spring lift as soon as I possibly can only reason for the spacer lift right now is because I desperately need new tires and I figured I might as well go bigger since I'm buying new tires so the spacer lift is just to hold me over for a year or less till I can get a full spring lift |

I have a Skyjacker spacer kit. Basically the same as daystar. Its been almost a year and the spacers have taken a toll on everything drive line based. Just once you get the opportunity to get the spacers out of there, do so! ![]() ![]() Bilstien HD shocks from JBA will be nice to have. ![]() By the way, spacers are spacers. No difference between teraflex, daystar, and skyjacker. Price and height are the only difference. |

You have the over the top similar to RRO's, then there is the regular Daystar style, and the clevis style like Rock Krawler's (uses a longer than stock clevis). |

I don't ever recall seeing anyone on here or over on the jeep forum side with TeraFlex or another makeshift type spacers. as long as the spacer buyer knows the major issues of spacers and plan on upgrading to a full spring lift. the main issue with people lifting with a spacer is the lack of knowledge of the spacer lift and the terrible rep it has. I know we all try to sway people from spacers, but there are a few people that had the spacers as a first lift, look at where their KK is at now! just plan on tossing those spacers ASAP ![]() |

I personally think that Rock Krawler would be the best "spacer" style. Only problem is you'd have to swap out ALL the hardware with the kit. There was more than a few kits that went out with less than grade 8 hardware.....that's a risk I'm not willing to take... |
