Is the KK shaft the same as the KJ? I'm having trouble finding one listed for the KK.

Thanks,
Ryan

The KK intermediate shaft is not the same as the KJ one, because we don't have the same front diff. You won't be able to swap in a KJ one.

The kk intermediate shaft is a bit longer.

I have a whole diff here I bought out of a wrecked kk, I can sell the whole thing to you cheap if you want. Pm me.

If you don't buy it, I.m gonna use it to make steel kk diffs.

I don't know that I need a new one, but I'm doing CV's and from what I read it's good to do the shaft too? Anyone have an opinion on that?

Yep, number three would be it. I would also get one seal (number 5) and one bushing (number 4) and install those as well since you have it off. I just got done with mine. I bought a new shaft from the dealership and it had the snap rings ( 1 & 6 ) already attached to the shaft, but I ordered the rings anyways, just in case. I also ordered 2 of the bushings and seals, but only 1 of each were needed for instillation.

Hi, it is time to do a cv, shaft, bushing and seal change for the KK. I am having trouble finding this part in argentina, and do not know if my current one is worn out. Does anyone knows which is the max. play or clearance between the shaft and the bushing?
greetings!!
