so im about due for new brakes. pads and figured rotors as well.... thing is i know nothing about brakes. dealership said they could do it all for around 300. i found some nice ones made by ebc with black rotors. to order those with pads it will roughly cost the same. and i could get a friend to help swap the new ones on so.... basically what im asking is has anyone done this before? can you recommend a setup that will be maybe a bit better then from factory but wont cost some crazy amount? if i do decide to order rotors and pads from ebc, how to i figure out the correct size for rotors and what pads will work vs. what wont? thanks for any and all help here. |

I've had good luck with power stop pads from rockauto.com. I think they were less than $30 but work very well. Power stop also makes rotors. Just price out pads & rotors vs power stops total brake kit iirc pricing it out was cheaper. Ebc are also good pads. |
