My Jeep is being much louder than it used to be. The engine is very loud when accelerating. To give you an idea of how loud it is, even my wife commented that she doesn't like driving it anymore because it is too annoying. Everyone that gets in it asks why it makes so much noise. It idols just fine and is quiet after it has been running for a while. RPMs are also fine and match when running loud or when running quiet. I thought it was normal operation, but I was able to drive another KK this weekend, and it sounded perfect the whole time I drove it. I did install the radiator cooling fan and that is about when I noticed the extra noise. Would that fan cause the noise or can anyone think of other issues?

You mean added the mechanical radiator fan? You may just be hearing that running now when the clutch kicks in. Or vice versa

I just think it's weird that it is on from a cold start then is quiet after I have been driving for a while. It seems so backwards from what I would expect.
