I have all of the above on my 2010 liberty sport. Was a bit disappointed with the pro power programmer not having a tire size option to tune. After reading it seems a cold air intake as well as header were already designed about as good as it gets so I just bought a performance drop in. I'd like an exhaust but not a really throaty or droney one, just something to beef it a bit with a low tone. I can't stand raspy exhaust tones, suggestions? Was looking at a flow master because I get them @ cost. I just got the 4.7l tb and will be putting it in when work isn't so intense. I'd kill for cruise control and oem fogs but I need some research on exactly what all of that would cost. I'd like a small lift, like 2" max. As I will not and do not utilize more than stock as is. No need for skids where I live & what I use it for either. Anything else you would suggest? Maybe a scan gauge? Anything in terms of fuel economy that hasn't been done? Thanks guys! |

All you listed does nothing for mpg's. Maintenance is the key. Without actual internal modification a 4.7 TB,intake,or exhaust can not add any mpg's or power(moves power band is all). The engine can only suck in so much air un-modified.The stock exhaust is specifically tuned for max mpg's already, changing it will actually reduce mpg's and low end power. Adding a lift will also reduce mpg's,more so if you add bigger then stock tires and don't re-gear.Re-gearing will net you "more power" without actually creating more HP or torque. You want a 100% guarantee to increase mpg's is to plug your air filter and drive normally.Less air entering the engine equals less fuel being used. |

After trying sevearl things ( just to prove a point ) on mine He's right on all accounts Gearing is the best way to go if going even up a size or so, rest ( CAIs/Exhaust etc ) are only playing games with your mind ![]() |

I'm glad I read this. Was on my way to get a 4.7 TB. Guess I'll just go buy a bottle of scotch |

Thank you guys, I will just skip it. What's bizarre is I average 12mpg around town... Figured well it's the bigger wheels and tires and I must drive like an booty. Took the wife's charger for a week (she drives like super cautious mom) never speeds accelerates gently and we live in a flat area. Still the same mpg for her. My tires must be killing it, 255/70/16. No I never get rub at stock height even on trails etc. |
