Hey all,
I scored some seats out of a 08 limited for my 06 crd. However, theres quite a few more wires than i figured for simple front//back movement and heat. Do any of you happen to have a iring diagram handy to reference? I have one for a GC, but i dont know if they share the same seat harness.
Sidenote: if anyone is close to alberta, i have some rear leathers for a good deal!

I don't have a wiring diagram, but I imagine the extra wires are for the airbag sensor. The Jeep can assess how much you weigh and determine how forcefully to explode the airbag in a crash, or not at all if someone isn't sitting in the passenger's seat. There may also be seatbelt sensors in that wiring harness, as well as power to active head restraints, although my '08 doesn't have those. The 6 way power adjustment on the seat is probably wired in there too, even if the Jeep didn't come with that option. Good luck!

The heat will not work because it is computer controlled.
For the seat 11 way flat plug.
Pin 6 is B+, Pin 7 is Neg-
B+ should be from a 25Amp circuit breaker located under the front of the drivers seat.
The other pins go to the controls/motors.
I do not have heated seats, so I do not know if the wires for the controls and or motors, go directly to the 11 way flat plug, or if they go out into a body harness and back...

Before doing any work on the Jeep, disconnect the Neg (-) battery cable and wait 10 minutes!
This will allow time for the airbag capacitors to discharge.
You don't want to have your airbags go off accidentally.
