Hey guys/gals ,
I lifted my libby 2010 KK , about a year ago. OME RockFather 2" lift front and rear...... but had stock libby tires on it. Looked horrible. Got some Wrangler tires now and it looks great, but the issue is that the drivers side has less clearance in the front of the tire then the passenger side ; the tire also does not look centered in the wheel well. . I got under and noticed that the cradle has a "slide" spot near the mounting bolts....by about 1\2". You can see where there is rust where the bare metal was exposed.

Question , can i just loosen the bolts , after supporting the whole thing , and then slide it back ? I know an alignment would be needed, but is it possible?

Loosen the bolts. Slide the cradle in place and re tighten everything. And yes you also need an alignment afterwards

So , basically, i am supporting the cradle, loosening the 4 bolts ,and then putting it all back into place. I can use the one side as a measurement guide , and duplicate it on the other.
Same thing that would be done on a K-member on an 80's camaro.

just making sure, as I used to build drag cars, and am just getting into the 4 wheel drive scene.

thanks BTW :JEEPIN:
