hello guys im new in this.

currently i have 20 inch rims in my liberty jet but would like to go smaller.ive ben looking at some pro comp series 69 with an offset of -12 or 4 of backspacing. my car is not lifted, but do plan on lifting it soon since i go down to Baja a lot. what would be the best tire size with stock lift for now.? i was looking at putting 225/45/16 ....

First unlifted a 7 inch wheel with 4 inches works great LIFTED but not unlifted
Most of those wheels are 8 inches wide so that makes things even worse lots of rubbing PLUS 8 inch wide and 4 inches of backspacing doesn't even work good lifted!
NOW onto the tires, the 225-45-16 tires are only 23.8 inches tall WAY too small for a KK
Stock is about 29 inches tall
IF you are going to lift I would suggest after you do a full spring OME or JBA lift THEN you go for a wheel/ tire combo that will work way better than the way you are heading
