Whats up all, new here in the Jeep Forum world but have owned my KK for about 3 years now. Give ya a little background: Black 20% tint all around/10 inch 20% brow/50% whole windshield 2 12 inch Kicker Comp cv12's with a 1200 kenwood amp and kenwood headunit single din 5K HID high/Lows and of course...a dixie horn So i know everyone is probably tired of reading and looking at wheel and tire discussions but i just wanted to throw one out there just to get some updated replies...hopefully. Ive been looking at wheels and tires for a couple days now and am still just foggy on what the best thing to do is. I have P225/75R16 on my Yeep currently and would like to make it look like it has some balls. I would really like to put 17's or 18's and would really like to go wider to get some poke for the more aggressive look. I am not against putting a 2.5 lift on it at all so that is in the game for sure...I also dont mind rubbing or anything, i have helped multiple friends cutting bumpers, wheel wells, cab corners exc... With that being said, I have been set on the Steel Rim look. I would really prefer to stay away from stock width as stated before as well as diameter. So my question is...can anyone give me a wheel/tire combo options along with what kind of trimming or lift would need to go along with it. I would just love some options just so i can make a decision hahah. PS. not trying to go any higher that 2.5 because i am not re-gearing or any of that nonsense. Thanks in advanced to whoever is kind enough to answer this oh so redundant topic. |

im running 265/60/18 Goodyear Dura trac with a 2 1/2in lift and stock wheels on my 2012 KK. no cutting at all and i go off road a lot. if you ar not off wheeling you can run 1 1/2 in spacers with out a problem, but the tires will rub rear flairs if wheeling and flexing a lot. |

LittleRed, Got any pics? What lift are you running? I Also have a 2012 and just did the OME lift and looking for new tires in 18". Trying to get an idea of how the 265's look on stock rims. Thanks, Stu |
