I just bought my 08 Liberty sport. When I purchased it from car lot it was already equipped with a 3.5" lift. I'm concerned about the tires that come on it... They are 235/75/15 105T... Should I have bigger tires ? Also I've taken it to a garage and they told me the control arms were making contact with the springs.... Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

15" tires!? Didn't know that 15" wheels would fit a KK?! Please upload some pics of your jeep. As far as your spring contact is concerned, the KK can't be lifted more than roughly 2" without such issues unless you get JBA UCA's fitted.

First we need to know a little bit more,
are you sure its 3.5 inches of lift
what lift is it? pictures may help
and yes if it is actually 3.5 inches of lift and the stock UCAs you will have lots of spring contact on the UBJ
Even with the aftermarket JBA UCAs you'll have contact at that height and above
Should you have bigger tires??
Do you want bigger or just think you need bigger
Anything much over a 30.5 inch tall tire is going to need a serious look at regearing to gain back mileage and power

Measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender and give us the measurements, that will let us know how much lift you really have. Pics of the suspension and front upper control arms will help too.

A 234/75-15 is a 29" tall tire, that's on par with stock. If you're really at 3.5" you can run 31s and squeeze 32s in there if you don't mind some cutting. Also be prepared to regear if you jump to 32s.

KKnut, 15s will fit with the right rim and specs. Very close to the balljoint nut though, and most of the time the specs push the tires pretty far out and just create problems with rubbing.

First I'd like to say thanks for the replies from all. The measurements from hub to bottom of fender is 22". I do not know what make the lift is it was already installed when I purchased it. As far as tires go... I bought it with the 235/75/15... I was told the tires should be bigger and it apparently had bigger Tires on it because the wheel wells have been cut out some. My main concern is just having the proper tires , parts that should be on it. I'm not sure if the cv axle went bad because the loft wasn't done properly or if it just went bad. Now when I try to move my Jeep I pretty much have to force it to move and theres some god awful noise.

Hate to tell you this but you have one messed up suspension
If you are measuring from middle of the hub to the bottom of the flare you have 4 inches of lift
Then you have stock UCAs so there is another issue with that much lift
The lift you have is what we call an OTT spacer lift and its not a good one to have
Someone rigged this thing up and then sold it , after throwing on some cheap wheels and tires.
CV more than likley went out due to height and lift thats on it

If it was mine I would start on the front doing a proper lift ( new springs and shocks, checking all of the front end parts very well) ,
then rear and go from there

I also deleted all of the extra pictures you posted since they were already on here
