Hey hey hey!! Sorry I know this is annoying as there are a few topics on each of these things, but I need responses asap as I'm on a time crunch. Parts dept closes at 4 today.

Anyway, back story that led to this,

Guys, I got hung up on a tiny stump on a forest road in N Wis that bashed in my stock shield and ruined the middle strap, like bent fubar. No damage to tank except it for missing a few gallons capacity. But it is bad, I just brought it to my local Merlin's shop for an oil change and asked if I could see the damage while it was on the lift. They recommended replacing it asap as some of the tack weld tabs that hold the strap to the actual plate are sharp and stick up. No plans for offroading any time soon but if I did it it again, it could puncture the tank. Funny thing about the high centering was that I was turning off onto an overgrown trail spur to turn around because the actual trail ahead was way overgrown and I didn't want to get anymore tree pin striping than I'd gotten. Luckily the stump was not a rock and I had a hatchet with me to hack at it. I eventually realized I had about 8 inches of forward and backward travel so I was able to shimmy off to the side of it by alternating forward and reverse about 20 times until I was able to get my front end to swing away enough to back out. That pretty much ruined the next 3 days for me as far as any challenging trails went. And thank god for no gas leaks as I was about 800 miles from home. My first real trail damage....:(

Soooooooooooo I just got back from my local Chrysler dealer parts dept. and they can order the performance accessory skid plate for me even though they've been deleted. He located one about 2 days lead time away in Wisconsin. Quoted me $288.70 because they're running a special on accessories. Part number quoted is #8220936. Is that right?

part # for stock shield is 52129211AH at 337.00 because it's not part of the special, being a stock part.

Unsure of whether or not I'll need a tank replacement at this point, new one quoted at $782.00 for a mopar part plus install.

And I asked about plugs. NGK coppers SP2FR6F11G for 5.60 a piece. That sound about right? I though I've seen people on here saying a couple bucks a plug...

update: I just called Morris 4x4 just to see if they had any. They had one in stock and it was 8 dollars cheaper than the dealer wanted with free shipping. So I just ordered it, should be here next week sometime. Probably won't try to install it myself as I'm unsure of the condition of the gas tank itself. It's definitely pushed up and I don't know that it would reform itself simply by removing the bent up stock shield. I hope I don't need to replace that, but I know it needs to be dropped to do the skid plate anyway, so I'll probably have the dealer service dept make that assessment.

And again I've searched but couldn't find the answer, but should I be using NGK Standard Spark Plugs? Is it necessary to replace the wires as well?
like these:

and there's these with copper core and nickel-tipped electrode

Regarding the spark plugs, copper core only
NGK or Champion either one works

thanks! I got copper core but could only find them in Autolite. Haven't put them in yet, but they were cheaper by half of what the dealer wanted for NGK.
Are Autolites decent or should I return them?

I've used Autolite copper cores before with no problems. The key is to change your copper plugs every 30,000 miles. Copper is softer than platinum so it wears down by the time you reach 30K miles, but it has really good conductivity characteristics in the meantime.

Plugs recommended for the KK are ZFR6F-11G Gap 0.043 in. It is in the owners manual.

I use NGK which is what my rig came with from the factory.
