So I have 2 problems now that I need help with.

1st problem is the check engine light for a EVAP problem but nothing visually looks off. (Yes I have switched the original gas cap with a new one but lights just comes back on.

2nd it sounds like I have installed a mini super charger under the hood, and I think it is actually the transmission oil pump. But the problem is I can figure out where to check the fluid levels or to even add any fluid to it.

Any help would be great thanks.

What is the EVAP code you are getting?
#2 passenger side of the engine, by the fire wall. It says "Dealer only" on it, I believe.
You will need a dipstick, level/temperature chart to check it. As well as a way to measure the fluid temp accurately.

Dealership or buy a dipstick, they have them on Amazon for under $20 with the measurements on them and most even come with charts. If it doesn't have a chart you can find one in the tech section. As for temperature, my scanguage tells me mine. Invest in one of those, or maybe another device might read transmission temps.

P0456 = Evaporative emission (EVAP) system - very small leak detected. Possible causes: Mechanical fault, hose connection(s), EVAP pressure sensor.

My guess is it is the evaporative system integrity module "detector". It is attached to the vapor canister, part # 52855827AB (if you google the part # you can find Pics of it)
You may also need the seal, Part # 52129436AA.

Awesome thanks, I think you're talking about the little whitish module next to the big canister?

I replaced that on mine and it stopped my code for a while. Then I hit a patch of high water and it came back on. I'm still hunting the evap gremlin

So I believe I have found the corporate of the "mini" supercharger sound. Some guys and I have decided that it is the bearing for the belt tensioner is shot. Does anyone know where I can find the part number or even know the part number already???

Only part # I could find 53030958AG. It may be both pulleys and the arm or just the pulleys. Not 100% sure.
Could not find a break down for just pulley #s.

Heres a link to amazons search for idler pulley. Has the tensioner pulleys also. Teplaced the same idler pulley you show as bad, then soon after the other one went. Happened after I went through deep water a lot. Id replace both while youre in there. They do sell the complete assembly also that includes the pulleys attached to the tensioners.

Do I have to erase the error code after fixing or will it reset itself?

3 good trips and it should reset. Disco the Neg (-) battery cable for 10 minutes will also clear it.
If it comes back, you still have a problem.
