Hi everyone. I'm sort of new to this whole Jeep lift stuff. I just got my 2012 liberty and I'm gonna buy a lift soon.

I don't want to break the bank but I want to spend whats right to get the look I want. Ive been shopping around
and both of the above lifts seem reasonable. My biggest question is, though, will I notice a big difference between teh two lifts?
i've been reading around and it seems that the 1.5 will get me 2.5 inches. So will the extra inch with TMs lift give me a noticeable
difference?

Depends , some want that higher look, but then you're tempted to install larger tires, which then you need lower gears, so........
Both ride the same , the TM kit came about after numerous requests for " what do I need to buy to get over 3inches of lift
I would look at pictureas of both and go from there.
My 04 started at 3 inches ended at 4.5 after 4 different lifts, 2 OME lifts, Tested Ironman ( not longer available ) and ended with the JBA coilovers.
My current build is going to stay at 2.5 inches with 265-70-16s and 4.10 gears, also JBA coilovers etc

Oh okay, wow. So what would you suggest? My issue is, I don't want to do 2.5 and then have it not look like much of a difference. I'll be going with 265/70/16 if I go with that lift. And I'm at stock 235/60/16 right now. If I go with your 3.5 lift, what else will I "need", like is it absolutely necessary to regear?

Thanks! Def some rubbing in the front with those tires. Need to do a little more heat gun action in the front of the wheel well.

Have to do some trimming for sure with 265-70-16s and only 2.5 inches
Go 3 inch, easy to do
