So, while pulling my driveshaft, I came across something that really confused me. Under the passenger side next to the wheel well is a plastic bag full of water...

What the heck is this?

I feel like it shouldn't be full, but I don't want to just go poking holes in things...

More than likely it is an insulation bag. I have them in the sides of both front fenders.
But they only have insulation in them, not water. :wink:

It's sound deadening insulation that should be stuffed between the fender and bodyside above the splash shield. They pick up water if you go through puddles and work their way down.

My passenger side was also full of water and ice, I ripped the buttom of that black plastic bag so water can escape faster and stuffed that insulation back in...
