I have the OME lift installed in my 2008 KK and one of the rear shock broke, its leaking. I want to order new shocks but I don't remember if the number is 5100 for the blistein shocks. Can someone refresh my memory with the shocks?, much appreciated....

Thanks

I believe I have Bilstein 5100's back there, but with JBA 4" springs. Not sure what the OME people have...

5100 are the correct bilstein's for KK's with 2 1/2" of rear lift (ome springs or jba25 spring variant lifts)

the 4" lift uses 7100's i believe
not that you can't pack 4" springs in with the 5100's
just the actual 4" lift uses the 7100 series

Ok, thanks for the correction. I didn't have the paperwork that came with mine so i was going off of (faulty) memory.

5100/7100 is the type of shock. Not the part number. 5100/7100 are essentially the same aside from the 7100 having an external reservoir.

The lift FAQ I made has the right part numbers for the 5100/5150 series. I'd link it, but I'm on my phone right now. Or just get the part number off your current rear shocks (the numbers in the lift FAQ might be slightly different than the ones JBA sold you, assuming you bought through JBA)
