Those of you with spacer lift like Daystar and so on don't you have contact with your upper control arm and your ball joint? I had a 04 and used Rough Country and there would be contact every time I hit a bump so that's why I'm asking if you have the same problem with the KK

There are many more problems that arise when using a spacer lift on the KK. 99% of us on here would not recommend it. Many have gone that route to save money, then hated the crappy ride quality and within a year it made their springs sag and wore out their suspension components. They ended up paying twice to get a good OME or JBA lift on it, or sold their KK at the end of it all. Spacer lifts are not worth it on this vehicle. Buy once, cry once, is what people recommend. A good full spring OME kit is about $850.

If you are just getting the basic OME kit then JBA uca's aren't needed, but if upgrading to the Tommudd econo lift or a JBA coilover lift then I would recommend them. The OME kit will net you 2.5 inches of lift by itself, and the econo lift upgrade takes that to 3.25 or so. That's right about the height that JBA uca's are needed to get a decent alignment.

First forget the spacer style lift, no matter what kind it is.
Yes you can " help " them a bit by using bumpstops, JBA UCAs, etc but its like putting a small bandaid over a 10 inch long knife slash.
Only help for a bit . By the time you buy the spacer lift, new shocks, etc
You're not far from having enough to buy a full spring lift that will actually give you a solid 2.5 inches with no glitches that you have to remedy with more parts with the spacer .

Here is something to think about
Daystar spacer lift 160.
rear extended shocks180
JBA UCAs 395
front bumpstops 46
rear bumpstops 20
Thats 801 dollars to make the spacer lift sort of work at 2.5 inches of lift ( maybe if springs are not sagged.)

NOW OME springs are 336 for 4
front and rear shocks 390
making 726
add in new front and rear bumpstops
now we have a total of 792 of real lift at 2.5 inches

JeepinByAl is where most of the prices are coming from, dealt with them a lot so prices are in my memory bank
where the heck are you pricing them from?
For 1200 I'll buy the parts and do an install for ya
solid 2.5 inch lift with quality OME springs and bilstein shocks etc like listed above
