If you don't wheel or tow, 75w-90 will work. If you tow at all or wheel a few times a year, I'd run 75w-140. The manual specs 90 up front and 140 in back. Transfer case is ATF4 only.

The only benefit of 90, besides cost, is maybe better gas mileage. I run 140 in both. Any name brand is good. I'm currently running Royal purple since I got a deal on it.

this is what my manual says (2011). I might as well go with the 90. I wouldnt say I wheel a lot, just to occasional dirt road and mud

Front Axle SAE 80W-90 Multi-Purpose Type, GL-5 Gear Lubricant or equivalent.
Rear Axle SAE 75W-90 Gear Lubricant or equivalent.

Supertech 85/140 in both ends of mine. No problems. Rear has been drained and refilled a few times in the last year due to an annoying rear pinion seal leak after a few new seals.
