Here's a photo I grabbed from one of Diggerfreek's threads:
It looks to me like the side curtain airbag begins near the top/middle of the A-pillar.

Hey all, hopin for some advice and possibly a work around! I just bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FL ... UTF8&psc=1 Not sure that it'll fit as is so I'll have to do some drilling maybe? Thoughts? |

Watch out for the side curtain airbags! But with some care, it can probably be done. |

I've been wanting to do something like this. Hate that there's nothing to hold on to up front. Let me know if it works out. |

The airbag begins there (1/2 up) but the blue strap in the Pic, also needs to be free/ clear of any obstructions for the curtain bag to deploy properly. Same goes for the "A" pillar trim. It needs to be able to pop off and out of the way. |
