Can someone help me out with the location of the airbag system connections? My dash light has been going on and off since the OME lift install. The lift has been VERY bouncy on our messed up roads out here. My theory is that hopefully one of the connections is loose due to the bouncy ride. |

What is the code? You will have to remove the drivers airbag to get to the squibs (2). |

The code is ORC: B1B02 off the top of my head it was something about squib 1. I removed the airbag before when i installed cruise control so that should be too much of a problem. |

B1B02-Driver airbag squib 1 circuit open. Code will set with an "open" or high resistance on the circuit. Squib 1 is black /yellow. Lt. Blue/ Brown wires. With the steering wheel straight, it should be on the door side. Possible causes are the airbag, Squib 1 connection, the clock-spring, clock-spring connection, the main ORC connector, the ORC module, along with the wires in between. Hope it is an easy fix for you. |

Well its not going to be super easy. no loose connections anywhere. I have to guess its the clockspring. the light was off and i smacked the wheel and it turned on.... |

Bummer. At least you seem to have it narrowed down to the clock-spring or the airbag. |

Whoops wrond button ![]() If I have to buy a new air bag I might as well get a wrangler wheel with the bag. Its close to the same cost and my doo doo is wore out. Also I'm curious if the wheel controls will work with the mygig. It would be kinda cool to be able to turn it up and down at the wheel. |
