Has anyone wired LED pods similar to these directly to the reverse lights? just wondering if the computer will catch the amperage change and throw a code or cause them to flicker or something.

thank you,

You'd want to use the reverse light circuit to trigger a relay that powers the new lights. You can even add a switch so you can turn them on anytime or have them power on automatically when shifting into reverse.

ATH,

thanks to you I just spent my whole morning researching this instead of doing my job. I think i have it figured out. I'm going to use a 3 position switch "always on" - Off - "On with Reverse Lights"

should be pretty cool. thank you for the info.
