The "load range" on a tire will effect the feel of the tire.
My tires are "E" rated, which have a stiffer side wall then say a "C" rated tire. The Ply rating determines how stiff the side walls are. "E" is a 10 ply rated sidewall, "C" is a 6 ply rated sidewall.
The Ply rating also determines how much "Load" a tire can handle as well as how easily the tire will "roll under" in turns.
The higher the letter/# ( B [4Ply], C [6Ply], D [8Ply], E [10Ply], F [12Ply]) the stiffer the sidewall = the harsher the ride. But less likely to roll under, less prone to side punctures, and the more total load it can handle.
LT = light truck-metric These tend to be a little stiffer to handle more load.
Here is a great source of info.
