Post subject:  '11 and '12 performance/mpg gain

I have a '12 kk lifted with tires and I'm looking to save on some mpg. I know the earlier years have a different ecu which allows for performance chips and what not that doesn't work with the later years... Anyway I know this topic has been discussed a bunch but I haven't been on here in a while and was hoping someone could update me on this if there have been any updates.

Also I know some people do the 4.7 throttle swap but heard the computer adjusts for it after a little time negating the performance gains.

Thanks for any help!!!

Regear, the best and only way once you lift and add bigger tires.

Yes best way is a regear.
Many will say it costs too much but more gas mileage, will not lug down the engine and your transmission will be happier.
Yes even going to say a 245-75-16 etc

I would love to hear more about this if anyone knows? I have the 4.7 and also feel like I'm back to the old sluggishness. mostly when at speed. from a stop she still kinda pops up.

The PCM "learns" and adjusts to get back to what it was programmed to do and to stay in compliance with federal regulations.
