The KK’s brake-lock differential (BLD) actually works really well. If a wheel spins, the ABS stops it so that torque can be applied to the opposite wheel through the differential. There can be a little lag time for it to kick in, but when it does, it acts similar to a LSD. Some KK owners have installed an LSD like the Detroit TrueTrac and they say it plays well with BLD and the two work well together. The pro to BLD is that it works effectively without having to add a locker or LSD which can be expensive, and the con is that if you are engaging BLD a lot it will wear down your brake pads sooner.
