I've been trying to figure out where to mount light switches for external lights I've installed. All in all, I'm looking to have five or six switches.

I like the ones from http://www.otrattw.net :)

However, trying to find any dash spots or other good mounting places is proving to be a challenge. I don't want to install them in the cup-holder console area; it's too easy to accidently toggle them there. Ideally, I'd mount them on the driver's A-pillar cover.

There are a few after-market options for Wranglers, but nothing I can find for a Liberty KK.

So.... where have you mounted your light switches? (Photos would be great.)

If you've mounted them on the A-pillar cover, is there anything behind there that would make it a pain? (eg. limited room, airbag stuff?)

Not much room behind the A pillar cover—and yes, some airbag stuff behind there too. You may be able to get a slim switch on there, though.

I have a switch for my ABS cutoff installed on the knee panel to the lower right of the steering wheel. Easy to work on since you can take the whole piece off without tools and there’s TONS of room behind it.

I put one on each side of the cluster. Not much room there because of the backing/supporting plastic behind the cluster bezel.
Then I put 2 inside the cubby left of the steering wheel for my rack lights.

Front of the center console above the 4WD switch. Actually a good spot because your hand won't be there very often otherwise:

(Yes, they are slightly uneven. My own fault, I am a crappy measurer.)

Right bottom of the steering wheel. Takes quite a bit of cutting but it worked.

Thanks folks.

@wiseguy127 -- where did you get those horizontal switches with the images/text on them? I've only seen the vertical ones.
