many have, whats the main question?
No cons , only pros with them, will give you 2.5 inches of lift
Running 927s in front ? hopefully...

So I bought them already I’m just waiting for them to arrive. Now for the front I got the OME 2927 with bilstein B6 4600 I should be good with that right. What would be the max tire size I can use without issues I have 16 inch rims with a 4.5 backspace.

with 2.5 inches of lift 245-75-16s 0r 265-70-16s ( same height )
Any larger you'll want to regear , even with that size I run 4.10 gearing to compensate for loss of mileage and power

2.5 inches of lift, springs give lift so no difference what shocks you run, shocks control bounce , nothing more

If regearing, both diffs must be identical in order to use 4 wheel drive. Otherwise the front wheels would try to turn at different speeds than the rear wheels and it would blow up the transfer case.

Turning has always been fine wth no rub, but I do have the 4” JBA kit. However you should be fine with this tire size at 2.5” and certainly at 3”. I have wanted to regear to 4.10’s but haven’t had the $$$ to do that yet. You will lose some power and your mpg will suffer some, but it’s still reasonable to drive with the 245/75/16 using stock gears. If you had 265/75/16 then you would absolutely need to regear, but you couldn’t run that large of a tire on a 2.5” lift anyway. I keep an eye on my transmission temperature using a Scangauge II and installed an auxiliary cooling fan so I am sure I’m not overheating my transmission when I’m off-road or towing.

Ok cool that’s good to know. Were did you buy your cooling fan if you could recommend me one ? I was thinking of that too overheating the trans.

All KK's come with an electric radiator fan, but the tow package adds a secondary mechanical fan with a fan clutch. This fan is a back-up to the electronic one and can keep the radiator much cooler when the Jeep is working hard. This will be an asset when towing, climbing up mountains, or wheeling on a hot day. The radiator itself is the same in tow and non-tow package KK's, and the fan shroud is already there.

So this is a direct fit ? Is there a conector also ?

Author:  lfhoward [ Wed Jan 03, 2018 4:44 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: ARB old man emu 2731 springs

It is a direct fit, on the water pump shaft at the front of the engine. If your Jeep has the factory tow package, then it will already have this fan. If not, it can be added. See this thread for more info: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=76451
