Hello, I am going to flush out my heater core as soon as the weather warms up because my heat has been extremely weak lately. I am going to get some clear hose to make the job neater and was wondering what the I.D. should be for the new hose I am getting. Looked online, but seemed to be seeing multiple different answers. Thanks in advance.

Doug

Not 100% sure as I have not done this. But others have mentioned using 5/8" water hose, clamps, and a drill pump to flush.

The Gates power flush tool or the OTC 6043 has all the adapters you need.
