I am looking to a mount a lightbar on the front of 2012 Liberty, possibly in the lower vent on the front bumper and I am concerned about air flow (although from reading around this site I think I should be OK).
I was wondering what the small radiator on the passenger side is (looks to small to be a transmission cooler, and seems like heating cores are located in the dash). Lightbar isn't worth overheating anything and would appreciate any input (be nice please, I am new lol).

It’s the power steering cooler.

I have a front recovery bar with shackles mounted in front of mine for the last 90K miles and there have been no ill effects. The airflow can still come at it from below.

Pics of your light bar once it’s mounted would be awesome. :JEEPIN:

Trying to figure out if any harm to just drilling/screwing directly into the bumper without removing the bumper cover. From some reading on this site, doesn't seem like there are any airbag sensors or other wiring to be concerned about.

Will be sure to post pictures when done

Depends on where you are planning to drill.
There are impact sensors behind the front bumper, on the engine bay side, just below and inboard of the headlights.
You can look up in there and locate them first just to be safe.

Will upload pictures soon of the light bar.

I installed it and looks and fits mint. I did not have to take the front bumper off, and actually installed it to the bumper cover (using metal plates on the backside to give more stability). I also added some zipties as a fail safe (which you cant see) to the metal bumper to give more support or to catch the light in case it doesn't hold.

Heading upstate this weekend and will be off roading - if makes it past this weekend it will be good to go.

I installed the lightbar (22" curved Autofeel lightbar from amazon) without removing the bumper, and just bolted it to the plastic bumper cover (using some thick plastic on the backside to add more support. I also used some zipties for to the metal bumper for extra security (these dont really support the light but were used just in case the plastic bumper didn't hold I wouldn't drag the lights).
I also used the autofeel wiring kit for front and back (just supply positive and negative and comes with wireless remote to didn't have to run any wires into the cabin)

The back lights were installed and bolted directly into the bottom of my OEM hitch.

Any questions let me know.
