Hey guys any help would be great. I noticed the other day when my wife was leaving both my reverse lights aren't working. Everything else works fine and I figured it wasn't the issue but I tried replacing the bulbs and no luck.

Just to be on the safe side, test light the bulb sockets. While you are in there look inside the socket and see if the plastic is melted, contacts corroded..

LR quarter panel is 3 relays. One is for the backup lights.
This may only be for the OEM tow harness, but figured I'd mention it.
Manual trany; The backup light switch is on the trany, top left(drivers side) next to shifter.
Auto trany; It is part of the transmission range sensor. The range sensor is mounted to the top of the valve body inside the transmission. The plug is left side of trany, it is the one that plugs in vertically(from top down). It is kinda above the left CAT, so check the wires for melting.

Turns out they had wires in the wrong spot on the entire tow harness for the reverse lights bottom left on the mopar tow harness top left on the factory that was annoying but I re pin connections on the wrangler all the time so it was easyImageImage

Good detective work on your part. Re-pinning a connector is not hard if you've done it a few times. Of course having the right tools makes it sooo much easier.
82210642AD is the correct harness for a KK. :banghead: Wonder how many other KK owners out there are having the same problem? :dizzy:
