Hello All,
2x Jeep KK owner and I have a tire/rim fitment question.

I just got the OME lift installed on the 2012 and I have 17x8 inch rims with a 35 offset.

Can I fit a 245/70/17 inch tire like the BF Goodrich KO2?

OME lift installed tells us nothing at all
Which springs did you use ?
Did you have anything added ?
8 inch wide is generally too wide but since you are going with that size with an 8 inch tread width width is ok
as far as 35 offset, plus or negative should have 5 inches of backspacing on an 8 inch wide wheel

4 wheels parts installed the lift along with a few extra parts. It is similar to the jeepinbyal kit.

Before lift was 31 inches front and 32 inches rear. After lift is just over 34 inches all around.
Center of tire to inner fender is @20.5.

I only have a basket rack and rock sliders, no plans for anything else.

The rims do have more than 5 inches back spacing.

Original(No Lift) New Size
245/60/18 245/70/17
Diameter 29.6" 30.5"
Width 9.6" 9.6"
129mm BS 5.07'' 137mm BS 5.39''
top of tire to fender is 0.45" Closer

I know this question has been beaten to death :dead: and I hesitated writing the post but I figured why not when I am dropping this kind of cash. I have read every post I could find, it seems like most folks using a 8 inch wheel have 0 off set. The stock 18s are 40 offset and the 17x8 rim has a 35 offset and fit fine. I just wasn't sure if the tire would rub or not.

MAN wish you would of checked before having those jerks do the lift but you have it now
not similar to the JBA kit but oh well again
Hopefully they installed the right rear shocks
width on tires is not tread width which makes a huge difference
As far as rubbing different manufacturers/ different tread patterns etc affect the over all rubbing
BS 5.07 and 5.39 ????????

I run that exact tyre size, 245/70R17, and rim width and offset, 17x8 with +35.
No problems at all with same rear lift and less front than you. See it here.
