First you’ll need to remove the recline lever & plastic trim on the sides of the seat, then unzip & unclip the fabric and cut the existing hog rings with wire cutters. (The hog rings hold the fabric down to the seat in the middle of the cushion.) After that you can remove/swap the cushion. Reinstall hog rings, fabric, trim, and lever and you’re good to go. Fair warning, this job is a PITA.
I went out there and tried pulling it apart hoping it would be easy but then I got nervous I was going to break plastic pieces so I stopped... How do I remove to get the plastic side piece and take lever off? Any tricks?
