Anyone know where I can find how to remove the driver's side seat cushion and replace it? YouTube doesn't really have anything. I'm thinking of swapping the driver's side with the passenger side cushion if they're the same because the driver's side is pretty worn. Thanks. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk |

It can be done but you’ll need hog rings and hog ring pliers to reinstall the seat cover. First you’ll need to remove the recline lever & plastic trim on the sides of the seat, then unzip & unclip the fabric and cut the existing hog rings with wire cutters. (The hog rings hold the fabric down to the seat in the middle of the cushion.) After that you can remove/swap the cushion. Reinstall hog rings, fabric, trim, and lever and you’re good to go. Fair warning, this job is a PITA. |

How do I remove to get the plastic side piece and take lever off? Any tricks?Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk |

On the lever, look closely for a little metal spring. Push it down out of the slot with a little screwdriver and you should be able to pull the lever off. ![]() The plastic sides are held in by the same metal trim clips that hold on the rest of the interior plastic panels. |

So there's a 50/50 chance I'm going to break some of the clips... Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk |
