I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty 2wd/rwd. How does the Traction Control work on it. I am thinking of putting a limited slip in the rear end to help tow a camper. But I do not know if it is necessary if I have Traction Control. Do not plan on doing any off roading, just need a little extra traction to tow camper to a camp site. Any advice would be great I am new here. Thanks

Basic operation of the BLD system is when a wheel speed sensor sees one wheel spinning faster than the others it applies the brakes to that wheel to force torque to the wheel not slipping. This is ok for on road stability, and most basic off road use. May be enough for your towing needs as well since the towing capacity is so low anyway.
