Wasn't planning on fixing mine anyway, it is closed and sealed - but if you were planning to drop thousands to fix yours, you can keep your money! Parts no longer being manufactured...

I saw this too. Certainly it is not good news for KK owners with sky sliders. (Luckily mine is a solid roof KK.)

On the other hand, it leaves the door open for a freelancer to develop a better aftermarket solution, which could be as simple as a fiberglass roof insert or a manual canvas top. I’m thinking about how Jeepin By Al started making upper control arms or AtTheHelm making KK winch bumpers filling an open niche. Any KK owner with some industrial design skills— now is your moment!

It took a lot of searching (8 web pages and about 1-1.5 hours) but the "original" Mfg company closed its MFG doors in 2017. The majority of its Mfg operations were sourced to FCA and Toyota. Since FCA is still in business, I don't know why they are claiming the Mfgr is "no longer in business". Original manufacturer, yes, FCA NO. But neither here nor there, FCA has chosen to no longer produce the parts.
This really sucks for Sky-slider KK owners.
It is also possible the same company was supplying the sunroof system for the KK (I did not verify this). If it is true, us with sunroofs may also be up a creek when the parts run out...

The H3 owners with a "Cosmos" (slider top) are up a creak also. Same company made those.
But the list does not end there... Ford, Suzuki, Nissan, Dodge, McLaren, BMW, Buick, Chevy, Mitsubishi, +++. Pretty much if a rig had a soft top since 1967, ACS (+ acquisitions of the companies by this one.) had a hand in making it.
It really is sad to see a company that made almost 50 Mil in 2004 go out of business.

...I did watch the youtube video of the guy who cut and welded an entire hardtop roof in place of his skyslider one...extreme for some maybe the only fixed solution at the moment...

If anybody is needing spare sky slider parts, I came across this craigslist ad from Allentown PA. $100 for most everything except the tracks.
