I have an 09 liberty. I recently purchased 4 TPMS from a seller on Ebay (be nice). The part #56053036aa is what i recieved. My friend from the local dealership said this is for an 08 only. He said the part number i need is 68406530aa. From what i can find on Google search, the part # he gave me replaces the part i was sent. My question is; will the TPMS i purchased work on my 09?

Short answer is; Yes they will work.
Long answer;
68406530AA
Replaces all the following.
56029465AA, 56029465AB, 56029465AC, 56029479AA, 56029479AB, 56053036AA
Any of these will work.
However, the built in battery is only designed to last for 5-7 years of use. Even if they have never been installed(IE in sleep mode), the older versions, listed above, may not get as many years of actual usage from the battery. Simply because it/they have been sitting on a shelf for so long.
If you are curious, no, you can not change the battery in the sensors.

One last thing to add;
If the ones you received have a metal stem, they are prone to corrosion and breakage.
I saw a class action lawsuit on the web against FCA, C., J., D., involving the metal stem sensors for that reason. Not 100% sure if it is true...
The new ones have a rubber stem.

Thanks for the reply. That what I was able to find through a Google search. I'm going to install them and hope for the best.

You're welcome.
Once installed the computers should learn the ID# and locations automatically when driving over 25 Mph. However, if for some reason they do not, write down the ID# and locations of each one installed so you won't have to break the tires down again to get the ID#.
Do not put/carry the old sensors in the rig. Toss them away.
The computers will attempt to learn the #s during the first 10 minutes of driving. If unsuccessful they will not try again until the rig is turned off for at least 20 minutes.
If there are other C., J., D. rigs around, the computers may get confused by their sensors.

So I took my liberty over to Discount Tire to have my Tpms installed, the guy scanned the one working tpms on my jeep and it has a 433 frequency. The ones i purchased have a 315 frequency. He said they will not work on my jeep.

433 Mhz is the export sensor frequency. These are for the European/Australian market.
Both of the #'s you posted before, IE the ones you got and the ones your dealer told you you need to have, are 315 Mhz.
If you are US or Canada you should need 315Mhz sensors. Unless your rig was a Euro build that did not get exported, or was imported back from a EU market.
Every KK (08-11) part catalog, as well as every KA(07-11) part catalog, I have shows the #s you posted as being US/Canada market.
Something/someone is not right here.

I'm at a lost here. My Lberty was built here in Toledo, I believe for the US market. Neither the tire store or their dealership will install the TPMS I have. I search the 68406530aa number and I come up with the 433 numbers. The other number says 315. Is one an export number and one an import?

Just my experience. I bought dorman TPS sensors after speaking with a factory rep swearing they would work on my 2006 CRD. Nope! Les Schwab wants 75 each plus costs to install them, Nope! Put a pick of black tape over the TPS light last time I had the cluster out for bulb changes.

The Dorman sensors are a known issue and not just in our Jeeps. The theory is the signals are weaker than the originals and the computer doesn’t receive them correctly.
