Post subject:  JBA front sway bar links

Hi All,

I got my JBA lift before there was a bronze, silver, platinum package, etc. offered. It's a simple 4" version, probably equivalent to the Bronze package now. It has adjustable front struts, upper control arms, rear springs, and a rear adjustable track bar. Shocks are Bilsteins with no reservoir. Since installing it in 2013 (got it used-- it's probably a 2011 version), I've added some goodies that have helped with the handling and overall experience, like rear brake line extensions and rear extended sway bar links. The rear links made the back end handle much better over bumps and improved rear travel offroad. I replaced the heim joints on the rear track bar with bushing-ends and it eliminated the clicking noises that the suspension used to make.

Today I saw that JBA now makes extended front sway bar links for lifted KK's. I was wondering if anyone with a JBA suspension has these on their rig, and if so, what difference they seem to make. They're only about $100 and so I have my eye on them as a possible upgrade. What changes in handling would extended front links likely provide?

Thanks!

I have the extended quick disconnect links. I hardly ever disconnect them so I dont kill my steering rack faster. Handling is great on and off rd.
