Blue ridge overland makes an interior gear storage option called an “attic”. The problem is that it’s not made for the kk, and the biggest problem with custom making it to fit or adapting from another model is that there’s no “oh sh*t” handles inside to attach to. Any ideas how to create something that might work? Or even something to attach to instead?

The biggest issue is the side curtain airbags. Both front and rear seat windows have them and the "charge" canister is located above the rear cargo side windows.

Apparently, the other models they make for have them too, but since the attic hangs above this it shouldn't get in the way. He said he'd had someone unscrew them and mount onto the bracket but I've got no intention of doing that. I've thought of running cord up to the roof rails and in via the doors but it seems like a temporary "one trip" option rather than permanent storage, especially if I can figure a better way to attach.

I made one. $20 used the back grab handles and bolted to the sheet metal at the rear hatchImage
