Update:

Still have a P0420 code, none others. I reinstalled the muffler today in hopes the small back pressure will solve the issue. Transmission seems to be slipping when towing but I am unsure if it's caused by my power loss issue in regards to the P0420 or if I'm starting to loose my torque converter or clutch packs. Trans fluid looks clean so I'm hoping it's a power related issue and the transmission is expecting a given amount of power and it isn't receiving it. Best of luck to the 90k mile tank in her recovery.
