I’m looking for some mounts for my 08 Jeep Liberty KK, trying to mount a light at over the windshield. Anybody got suggestions?

AtTheHelm Fabrications (http://www.athfab.com) can probably help you out there.
They make ditch light/cowl light brackets for the KK, as well as a custom KK roof rack that has a 42” light bar mount.

I installed the ATH brackets about a month ago. Bought lights and the wiring harness from Amazon. All in was less than $100, more like 65 i think.

I can get a Pic tomorrow if you like, but there's a good install vid on his website.

I actually had someone ask me this week if I had ordered the special off road package because of the dit h lights and ATH shackle tabs I also did. They thought it looked factory.

I have their ditch light brackets. Rust prevent coat them and paint! I went with Pod lights from BlackOak. They have not got sun burnt or lost any light output! The cheapy lights will do just that most likely within first year!

What are some good light options that work with the Ditch light brackets that wont hit the hood when open?

These are the ones that I got. They were cheap, and may wear out - who knows - but they fit, don't rub, look good, and are very bright.

Interesting, can you post up some pics of how they look on the KK, perhaps some night shots too?
