...system revolutions per minute higher than expected. Looks like this can be caused by a number of things...current idle seems normal and I am not noticing any issues with acceleration or going into drive. A one-off or sensor issue maybe? Any suggestions on sorting this out appreciated - I know it can turn into whack-a-mole! |

CRD or gasser? This will pop up if your idle is 200 Rpm or more above normal for 30 Sec. It sets after two faults. It takes three good trips to turn off the CEL. If it is a persistent error, check for vacuum leaks. Check your TB is clean, and not sticking. If you are running gasser and a 4.7TB this may set initially after install, until the rig gets used to it. Usually 3-5 times driving around. Until you figure it out, drive with caution! If the TB is sticking, be ready to pop it into neutral at any time so you can stop! |
