Looks like ATH is no longer offering KK rock sliders...is Rocky Road Outfitters the only option left? Not finding any other alternatives and their track record seems hit or miss....

It still may be worth contacting ATH to ask about rock sliders. If there is enough demand he could decide to bring them back.

I did that first - simply said they weren't making them anymore. Assuming they make them all to order and have the "plans" still in place, not sure why they stopped or won't make them special order....I do still plan on getting a roof rack from them.

I too was looking at the roof rack because of parking garages I need that low profile rack. Can you just paint it yourself? Does the rack come with the place to mount the jerry can?

It is nice and low - my skyslider roof is jacked so I'm liking that its tucked close and will also help protect the canvas from branches. The only option listed is for hi-lift jacks, I figured once I had it I'd look for brackets that would work for my spare to throw on top....no clue on jerry cans. They may be able to answer that directly...and yes, it comes bare steel so you will have to paint it or get it powder coated.
