Greetings To The KK World!

I want a real trany dipstick for Lando The 2011 (KK) Liberty's auto trany fill tube. Now his auto trany is mated to the 3.7 V-6, and I have checked with the stealership and they say no such thing exists for his 2011 VIN. Oh fine whatever. :(

I am betting that an older KK, or even a KJ has a "real" auto trany dipstick in their trany attached to the 3.7 motor. So who has a genuine, from the factory MOPAR dipstick? What year is your rig, and most importantly what is the factory part number on this dipstick?

I can say for sure the #s you are asking for will not work for your rig.
The 08+KK does not have a dipstick as you know. But the early years that do, are not the correct length for the KK. If memory serves me correctly the tube diameter is also not the same. Peeps have tried several of the other Jeep and Dodge dipsticks and none fit. Most folks buy the same thing the dealer uses, (Dipstick 9336) which is to long to keep in the tube all the time and it does not have a cap even if it was short enough to stay in.
Anyway, all that is a mute point since you need to know an accurate trany fluid temp. to get it filled correctly.

If you find one that will work, PLEASE post the #'s.

You only use the dipstick when you service the transmission so every 30-40k, outside of that if it has no leaks as it should then there is no need. The dipstick that you use to check it is more accurate than the older ones and that’s why Mercedes changes many Chrysler’s over to it like the euros do. Even more accurate is the stand pipe method a lot of the euros use. Dorman makes a dipstick for checking the level, just get it and you can check level whenever you want but to be precise you need a scan tool to check trans temp.
