I have a 08 Liberty with stock radio, installed a Monster bluetooth, the sound on the phone was so bad I could not understand a word. I plugged the same unit into my 09 Honda and it worked fine. Does anyone have a bluetooth transmitter that works on the Jeep radio ? I tried syncing the unit at 87.7 and 107.1 there was not difference. I tried adjusting volume and no difference.

I changed the rooftop antenna and the Bluetooth works fine now. I had shortened and bent the original to work with kayaks and canoes on the roof rack.

Here is how you can add Bluetooth to your stock radio for under $20 and have the receiver hidden and work with the AUX button.

Another simple and inexpensive way to get BlueTooth to stream to any older FM radio in your vehicle.
I bought three of these off Amazon and put one in each of my three older trucks so I could listen to Sirius streaming to the OEM stereo from my iPhone.
Works like a champ! I totally removed my Sirius equipment out of the vehicles as it is no longer needed.
You simply tune your FM receiver to an unused band like 88.1 and set the Bluetooth to transmit on that frequency and connect your phone to the Bluetooth device, and your good to go.
It even allows phone calls through your radio.
It transmits a weak FM signal to your car antenna.
