I have a 2008 KK and was wondering how much my old struts have sagged. If it is substantial I will get new struts. Might even lift a little while I have it apart. What do new struts measure from pavement to fender or ?
thanks Gary

Hi Gary,

The stock height of a KK was 18” from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare in front, and 19” in the rear. By now most original suspensions have sagged, especially on the drivers side where there is more weight (driver + gas tank).

I would not recommend putting a stock rated suspension back in. Read up on OME (old man emu) springs and shocks for a small lift, but way better handling than you had stock, both on and off road. Posts by Tommudd are especially valuable in lift threads. He by far has the most experience of anyone lifting Liberties and while he can be blunt at times (sorry Tom if you’re reading this  ), his advice is always sound.
